Virus Removal, Malware, Spyware, and Potentially Unwanted Programs (PUPS)

Unfortunately virus removal is a task we perform on a regular basis. Viruses and other forms of malware can run the gamut from unwanted programs and harmless hoaxes to mean, nasty, and destructive parasites. New viruses are being created daily making it almost impossible to keep up even if you have the latest anti-virus software. Some viruses can be removed from your system and others require wiping clean your hard drive and starting over. The best defense against viruses is to a good backup system. Unfortunately many of us do not keep up with our backups or even make backups at all. At TekTrek we keep appraised of the latest threats and carry the necessary software to deal with them.
